Full Node Distribution
A Bitcoin full node is a computer that downloads and verifies the entire Bitcoin blockchain, helping to enforce the network’s rules and maintain decentralization. It checks all transactions and blocks against Bitcoin’s consensus protocol, ensuring that they are valid before sharing them with other nodes. Running a full node enhances privacy, improves transaction security, and contributes to the strength of the Bitcoin network.
Lightening Network
The Bitcoin Lightning Network is a layer-2 scaling solution designed to make Bitcoin transactions faster and cheaper. It works by creating off-chain payment channels between users, allowing them to send many transactions instantly without waiting for block.
Mining
Bitcoin mining is the process by which new bitcoins are created and transactions are added to the blockchain. Miners use powerful computers to solve complex mathematical puzzles that secure the network and validate transactions. The first miner to solve a puzzle gets to add a new block to the blockchain and is rewarded with newly minted bitcoins plus transaction fees.
